• Q. What makes your practice different from other financial firms?

    A. We are specific in what we do and who we can help. By specializing in income planning and tactical asset management for the retirement years, we can create comprehensive solutions that give our clients the future they imagine without the fear and risk that notoriously come with it. You only get one retirement. Let’s make it a great one!

  • Q. What was the biggest influence in your career choice?

    A. My first job was educating individuals on Medicare and Social Security. I loved it, and the gratitude people felt simply because I was able to help them understand these confusing topics was massive. That is when I realized how much comprehensive planning and education is needed in today's landscape.

  • Q. What's something about yourself that may surprise your clients?

    A. I am a tomboy at heart. I grew up in the country with two older brothers, so all I ever knew was playing sports and taking care of animals to show in the county fair. I still love small town life!

  • Q. #1 personality trait needed to perform your job?

    A. Empathy. The job is not about us, it is about us doing the right thing for the client. In order to be empathetic, you have to be a good listener and be compassionate. You must have the necessary training to understand how to find the solution, but it all starts with empathy.

  • Q. How can I maximize my Social Security benefits?

    A. Social Security is often one of the largest sources of retirement income, yet most people claim too early and leave money on the table. We analyze your age, health, life expectancy, spousal benefits, and other income sources to create a personalized claiming strategy designed to maximize your lifetime benefits.

  • Q. What is IRMAA and how can you help reduce my Medicare premiums?

    A. IRMAA (Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount) can add hundreds of dollars per month to your Medicare Part B and D premiums if your income is above certain thresholds. We use proactive tax planning, strategic Roth conversions, and income management techniques to help minimize or avoid these surcharges so more of your money stays in your pocket.

  • Q. Should I roll over my 401(k) when I retire or change jobs?

    A. In most cases, yes. A properly executed 401(k) rollover gives you more investment choices, lower fees, and better integration with your overall retirement plan. We guide you through a direct trustee-to-trustee rollover to avoid taxes and penalties while seamlessly incorporating those savings into your retirement income strategy.

  • Q. What does your retirement planning process look like?

    A. We follow a clear three-step path: (1) Comprehensive Retirement Analysis – we review your full financial picture, (2) Strategic Planning – we build a customized roadmap, and (3) Ongoing Guidance – we provide continuous support and adjustments as life changes. This process removes the overwhelm and gives you clarity and confidence.

  • Q. Are you a fiduciary and what does that mean for me?

    A. Yes. As a fiduciary, I am legally and ethically required to put your best interests first at all times. This means no proprietary products, no hidden agendas, and recommendations based solely on what is right for your retirement goals — never on what earns me the highest commission.
